This exceptional Geisha coffee hails from the Cauca region of Colombia, renowned for producing beans with delicate, citrusy, and aromatic profiles reminiscent of fine wine. The unique terroir – a combination of high altitude, ample rainfall, and fertile soil – contributes to the coffee's exceptional quality.
This particular lot showcases a captivating natural process, where ripe cherries, selected for their resemblance to overripe grapes, are fermented for an extended 720 hours in a cold water bath with lactobacillus. This extended contact with the fruit pulp infuses the beans with rich, fruity notes, resulting in a truly captivating and nuanced cup.
